Brussels Forecasts Strong Economic Growth for Slovenia
Ljubljana, 4 November - The European Commission has forecast a 2.4% economic growth for Slovenia for this year, a 1.6 percentage point upgrade from the May forecast and 0.4 points higher than the government's estimate in the budget plan recently sent to Brussels. The budget deficit is expected to stand at 4.4% of GDP, which is on a par with the government's plans.
