Flood Prevention Plan Estimates EUR 600M Needed for Measures

Ljubljana, 10 November - A flood prevention plan discussed by the government at the start of the year defined 61 areas in Slovenia, which are home to a total of around 130,000 people, as seriously exposed to flooding. Two flood prevention projects, together worth EUR 84m, are already underway, but the estimate is that the issue requires EUR 600m.
