Use of Antibiotics in Slovenia Down by Third
Ljubljana, 18 November - The use of antibiotics in Slovenia dropped by a third in recent years, as GPs do not prescribe them as often as they used to any more. However, it is estimated that in 20-50% of the cases, antibiotics are still prescribed when they should not be, experts said on European Antibiotic Awareness Day observed on Tuesday.
