Investment Banker to Manage Development and EU Projects
Ljubljana, 19 November - Political debutante Alenka Smerkolj will take over as Slovenia's new minister for development, strategic projects and cohesion. Moving to politics from banking, the primary task of the 50-year-old in her new job will be the drawing of EU funds.
