Govt Introducing Pension Contributions, Minimum Hourly Rate for Student Work

Ljubljana, 27 November - The cabinet adopted on Thursday landmark changes to legislation governing student work, introducing among other things pension contributions for student workers and a minimum hourly rate of EUR 4.5 gross. Addressing the precarious nature as well as unfair market competition posed by student work, the provisions would take effect in February 2015.
