Number of HIV Infections Increasing but Under Control

Ljubljana, 1 December - The number of HIV-positive persons in Slovenia is low, standing at less than one infectee per 1,000 people, but it is still rising, health care workers and AIDS activists warn on the occasion of World AIDS Day. The number is nevertheless under control owing to effective testing and prevention programmes.
