Govt and Unions Strike Wage Accord

Ljubljana, 1 December - The government and public sector trade unions struck an agreement on cuts in the public sector wage bill for next year after marathon talks late on Monday. Both sides emerged from the negotiations happy that looming industrial action had been averted.
