Govt Gives Nod to New Fee System But Halves Fee for Court-Appointed Attorneys

Ljubljana, 5 December - The government has adopted changes to the attorneys act that imply it has okayed the restoration of the pre-2009 fee points system at the rate proposed by the Bar Association. The changes however halve the fee for state-appointed lawyers to prevent excessive costs, which indicates attorneys will be costlier under the new system.
