EU to Boost Development of Gas Markets after South Stream Shutdown

Brussels, 9 December - Seven EU member states along the course of the planned South Stream gas pipeline, including Slovenia, decided in Brussels on Tuesday to step up activities to boost the development of gas markets in central and southeastern Europe after Russia announced it was giving up on the project.
