Human Rights Ombudsman Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Ljubljana, 1 January - January 2015 marks 20 years since the first Slovenian ombudsman took over. Since then, the ombudsmen have drawn the attention of politics to a number of issues, most notably the erased, the Roma and lengthy court proceedings. They have also managed to have some controversial provisions annulled by the top court.
