A day before the vote of no confidence against Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler Slovene daily Dnevnik checked the public opinion. If the people's will decided the ministers' destiny, Zoran Thaler would not lose his seat. But since the destiny is decided by a qualified majority in Slovene Parliament, Thaler is to greet the Pope as a former foreign minister, writes Vlado Miheljak explaining the public opinion poll results.
