Surge in Train Delays in 2014 Blamed on Ice Storm
Ljubljana, 17 December - Slovenian passenger trains clocked up average delays of 4.8 minutes per 100 kilometres this year, up about 30% over the year before. Rail operator Slovenske železnice blames the delays on the February ice storm that encased huge sections of track in thick ice.
