Pope Celebrates Mass at Stožice
Ljubljana, 18 May - POPE/STOŽICE
Pope John Paul II, celebrating his 76th birthday Saturday, has started the Holy Mass at the Stožice hippodrome near Ljubljana, dedicated to 1250th anniversary of Christianity in Slovenia. Some 50 bishops and cardinals as well as more than 400 priests have been co-celebrating the mass.
