Potočnik Regrets Commission Axing Circular Economy

Strasbourg, 16 December - Former European Environment Commissioner, Slovenian Janez Potočnik, regrets that the new Commission decided to scrap his legislative package on circular economy while promising to draft a more ambitious reform instead. Potočnik believes it would have been better if the Commission preserved the programme and simply made changes it feels are needed.
