A Year on, Ice Storm Clean-up on Track
Ljubljana, 18 December - Eleven months after thousands of hectares of forest were damaged in an ice storm that encased huge areas of Slovenia in thick ice, the majority of the damaged trees are still in the forest. The Forest Service estimates about a third of the wood has been recovered, which it describes as a success.
