Military Anniversary Shows Divide in Slovenian Politics

Kočevska Reka, 20 December - Celebrations of the 24th anniversary of the lining up of the first Territorial Defence unit has shown a clear divide in Slovenian politics as two separate ceremonies were held on Friday and Saturday. President Borut Pahor, who attended both, has vowed to bridge the divide and help organise a single commemoration next year.
