Strasbourg Court Orders Slovenia to Repay Former LB Bank Savers

Ljubljana, 26 December - After successors to Yugoslavia failed to agree on the division of guarantees of the former federal state for old foreign currency deposits for more than 20 years, the European Court of Human Rights ordered Slovenia this year to find a solution to compensate those who had deposits at the defunct Slovenian LB bank.
