Ljubljana Emergency Packed as Ice and Cold Claim Toll

Ljubljana, 29 December - The emergency ward at Slovenia's biggest hospital, UKC Ljubljana, has seen a significant increase in patients with broken ankles, wrists and collarbones over the weekend that brought the first snow of this winter. With temperature expected to remain rather low in the days to come, doctors advise the elderly to remain indoors.
