New Year's Celebrations Packed Despite Freezing Weather
Ljubljana/Maribor/Koper, 1 January - Thousands in Slovenia braved the freezing cold on Wednesday to count down the final seconds of 2014 outdoors. Around 200,000 are estimated to have visited the capital in the past 24 hours, while things also got crowded in Celje where some 12,000 celebrated New Year's outdoors.
