Police, Hospital Investigating Alleged Euthanasia Case

Ljubljana, 7 January - The police and Slovenia's leading hospital are investigating the first ever reported case of mercy killing in Slovenia, the dailies Delo and Dnevnik write on Wednesday. The case involving an 83-year-old fatally ill patient is bound to spur debate about euthanasia, which Slovenian law equates with murder.
