No Reason Not to Sign Agreement with Slovenia, Believes EU
Brussels, 21 May - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek met Tuesday with European Commission President Jacques Santer on continuing the process of Slovenia's accession to the European Union. At a news conference after the talks, Santer said that following endorsement of the Spanish-brokered compromise all the conditions were met to sign the association accord with Slovenia and resolve the bilateral dispute with Italy.
