Civil Initiative Threatens Referendum on Privatisation

Ljubljana, 14 January - A civil initiative warned it would step up efforts against privatisation if authorities did not halt what it sees as a fire sale of state-owned companies, as it handed a petition to the government and parliament on Wednesday. Citizens Against Sale warned it was willing to start referendum proceedings.
