Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) are among those parties that voted to oust Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler on the eve of Pope John Paul II's visit to Slovenia and perhaps only weeks before the expected signing of the most important international contract Slovenia has ever adopted, the association agreement with the European Union, writes Večer's Boris Jaušovec Thursday commenting on SKD demand for Prime Minister Drnovšek to either appoint a new minister as soon as possible or rudder Slovene diplomacy till the autumn elections himself.
