Planica Getting Ready to Reclaim Ski-Flying Record from Vikersund
Ljubljana, 20 January - Organisers of the ski-jumping World Cup finals that will take place in Planica announced on Tuesday that the centre's renovated giant ski-flying hill will be ready in time for the 19-22 March competitions. They are hoping that Planica will reclaim the world record it lost to Norway's Vikersund in 2011.
