October Floods Damage Estimated at EUR 50M

Ljubljana, 22 January - Total direct damage caused by the flash floods that hit large parts of Slovenia between 21 and 24 October last year has been estimated at EUR 50.3m. The amount exceeds 0.03% of the planned budget revenue for 2014, which triggers a state aid mechanism under the natural disaster recovery act.
