Josip Plečnik - Architecture for New Democracy Exhibition in Prague's Hradchany

At the Prague castle of Hradchany Slovene and Czech Presidents Milan Kučan and Vaclav Havel opened on Thursday an exhibition entitled Josip Plečnik - Architecture for New Democracy. The opening celebration for the exhibition, jointly prepared by the Czech Ministry of Culture and Slovenia's Government Information Office, featured concerts by the Slovene Philharmonic Society and the mixed chamber choir The Ljubljana Madrigalists with a presentation of folk songs, 16th century Slovene composer Gallus's motets, Slovene choir songs from Foerster to Lebič and pieces of world's best known sacral music.
