Doha, 31 January - Slovenia suffered a 27:30 (14:16) defeat at the hands of Germany in Saturday's 7-8th place play-off game at the World Men's Handball Championship in Doha. While this means Slovenia missed the chance to directly make it to one of the qualifying tournaments for the Olympics, the path to Rio is still open.
