Slovenian road cycling star Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) won his third Tour de France on Sunday, finishing the grand tour with a 6:17 lead over his long-standing rival, Dane Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma-Lease a Bike). A month before the Tour Pogačar also won the Giro d'Italia, a feat that has not been achieved since 1998.

Local authorities and dozens of volunteers are helping for the second day the residents of Kokra, a village some 10 kilometres north of Kranj that sustained significant damage after strong rainfall triggered a landslide that damaged several houses. Clearup works are underway in other parts of the country affected by the storm as well.
