Ljubljana/Ajdovščina/Vipava, 5 February - The biggest snow storm this winter hit western Slovenia on Thursday morning as forecast. Bora winds in excess of 100 km/h are battering the Karst region, leading to school closures and traffic restrictions. The snowing is expected to intensify late on Thursday evening and persist around the country until Friday night.
