Reducing Deficit Precondition for Getting House in Order, PM Says
Ljubljana, 8 February - Slovenia needs to reduce the budget deficit not because of the EU but because of itself, since it signed up to the rules prescribing that the deficit should not exceed 3% of GDP, according to Prime Minister Miro Cerar. "I firmly believe that this painful exercise is a precondition for a more healthy economy and society."
