Ombudsman Has Oversight Authority Over Intel Services, Committee Hears
Ljubljana, 13 February - The Human Rights Ombudsman has the authority to supervise Slovenian intelligence and security agencies. But it leverages that power only rarely and only based on outside motions, not of its own accord, the parliamentary Petitions, Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission heard Friday.
