Commemoration to Mark 70 Years of Frankolovo Victims

Frankolovo, 14 February - A ceremony will be held at the Frankolovo memorial near the city of Celje on Saturday to mark 70 years since the Nazis hanged 100 political prisoners from the area on 12 February 1945 in retaliation for the death of a local Nazi official. President Borut Pahor will lay a wreath at the monument on this occasion.
