SocDems Get Backing to Initiate, Not to Pass Schools Funding Changes

Ljubljana, 17 February - The Social Democrats (SD) have mustered sufficient support to file an initiative for constitutional changes that would exclude private schools from the requirement that primary education must be financed with public funds, but the party appears distant from a two-thirds majority needed to get the changes passed.
