Committee Fails to Back Proposal for Pension Rise

Ljubljana, 18 February - The Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) failed to secure a coalition majority for a proposal to raise pensions in 2015 as the parliamentary Finance and Monetary Policy Committee voted on amendments to the government-sponsored changes to the budget implementation act at a session that ended just after midnight.
