Carmina Burana to Open 44th International Summer Festival

This year's 44th International Summer Festival in Ljubljana will start on 1 July with a cantata Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Performing will be the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ivan Goran Kovačič choir, soloists Norina Radovan, Sveto Matošić-Komnenović and Joachim Seipp along with a ballet ensemble of the Opera and Ballet SNG Ljubljana. Conducted by Antonio Guadagno, the performance was directed by Peter Breuer, who also designed the scenes and costumes.
