Despite Progress, Gender Equality Still Vital Goal
Ljubljana, 8 March - Women in Slovenia are still paid less then men despite having higher levels of education, even though pay equality is high compared to other countries. But officials warn on International Women's Day that passivity and complacency would soon lead to regression in gender equality.
