Leftist Parties Move to Prevent Referendum on Gay Marriage
Ljubljana, 23 March - A group of 23 MPs of two opposition and two coalition parties has moved to prevent a possible referendum on the law enacting marriage equality. They filed a request Monday for an extraordinary session of parliament at which the referendum could be blocked.
