Slovenia Taken to EU Court Over Illegal Tyre Dump
Brussels, 26 March - The European Commission is taking Slovenia to court over an illegal tyre landfill in the east of the country where major fires broke out in 2007 and 2008. Slovenia stands accused of breaching EU waste legislation.
