Farmers Worried about End of Milk Quotas, Minister Not

Ljubljana, 31 March - Agriculture Minister Dejan Židan does not expect the end of the 30-year EU milk quota regime to push the Slovenian milk sector into a crisis. He sees this as an opportunity for promoting locally produced food and entering new markets. Farmers meanwhile fear that milk prices will drop.
