First Parliamentary Speaker Bučar Disillusioned, Says Slovenia "Stuck"

Ljubljana, 6 April - France Bučar, the first speaker of parliament, argues that Slovenia has not yet become "mentally independent" 25 years after winning formal independence. To achieve that, it has to establish a minimum level of unity, instead it has remained "stuck in the mental mud," France Bučar has told the STA.
