Education Minister Steps Down in Plagiarism Scandal

Ljubljana, 1 April - Education Minister Klavdija Markež stepped down on Wednesday following revelations that her master's thesis was likely plagiarised. She offered her resignation to Prime Minister Miro Cerar, who accepted it in what is arguably the fastest resolution of a political scandal in Slovenia to date.
