Health Purse Warns Against Doctors' Pay Hike

Ljubljana, 9 April - The Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS), the manager of Slovenia's health purse, responded on Thursday to the announcement of a token strike by doctors' trade unions. If the pay hike demands are met, the purse will slide back into the red, as its annual expenditure would increase by at least EUR 85m annually, ZZZS said.
