MPs Oust Defence Minister Over Telco Intelligence Scandal
Ljubljana, 9 April - Defence Minister Janko Veber was ousted by the National Assembly on Thursday after hours of debate, most held behind closed doors to discuss secret documents. His dismissal was proposed by Prime Minister Miro Cerar, who claimed Veber overstepped his powers in ordering the military intelligence to analyse the sale of Telekom Slovenije.
