Patria Case Sent into Retrial, All Defendants Freed
Ljubljana, 23 April - The Constitutional Court unanimously overturned on Thursday the convictions of opposition leader Janez Janša and two co-defendants in the Patria corruption case and ordered a retrial. Janša's Democrats (SDS) demanded resignations over the case, while some opposition politicians voiced harsh criticism of the country's top court.
