Minister Presents Bill Allowing Ban on GMOs

Ljubljana, 28 April - Agriculture Minister Dejan Židan presented on Tuesday a bill that will allow Slovenia to restrict or ban the growing of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on its territory. However, the the bill seems not to bring much change to Slovenia, where GMO cultivation was effectively banned in 2009.
