Proposal to Ban Convicted Persons from Office Rejected at Committee Level
Ljubljana, 2 June - The parliamentary Interior Affairs Committee rejected on Tuesday the bulk of a package of bills meant to ban individuals who have been convicted to jail terms from running or serving in office. MPs agreed the proposals needed to be improved and rejected all amendments.
