Mountaineering Pioneer Dies in Crash
Ljubljana, 3 July - Slovenian mountaineering pioneer Marjan Manfreda has been killed in a cycling crash at age 65, the Slovenian Mountaineering Association has said. Along with being part of several major Slovenian expeditions, Manfreda was also a guide and a mountain rescuer.
