Fiscal Council on the Horizon

Ljubljana, 10 August - One of the cornerstones of the recently passed balanced-budget legislation is the establishment of a fiscal council, an independent body tasked with monitoring fiscal policy. It is expected to become operational in autumn and the government has already issued a public call for applications.
