Writers Think Culture Spending Should Be Raised to 2% of GDP

Ljubljana, 28 August - The Writers' Association presented to the government on Friday 11 demands for improving the situation in culture. The main demand is for culture spending to be raised to 2% of GDP by 2019 in line with UNESCO recommendations for developed countries, the association's head Ivo Svetina said.
