Ljubljana, 31 August - A preliminary GDP growth estimate of 2.6% for the second quarter of 2015 and a correction of the 2014 growth estimate to 3% from 2.6% by the Statistics Office on Monday have set the stage for a heated debate regarding the fate of austerity measures in 2016. PM Miro Cerar indicated that the government will continue to pursue a tight fiscal policy.
